Discover Thermotrack Webserve’s new Automatic Alarm Threshold Adjustment function!

We are delighted to introduce a new feature that has just been integrated into your favorite temperature monitoring software: automatic adjustment of alarm thresholds with calibration uncertainty.

What does this mean for you?

This update brings greater precision and customization to temperature management. Thanks to this feature, Thermotrack Webserve automatically adjusts your equipment’s alarm thresholds according to the sensor’s calibration uncertainty. This means greater reliability and compliance for ISO 17025 accredited laboratories.

How does it work?

In the advanced settings of your account, you now have the option of enabling this adjustment option. Once activated, it is automatically applied when adding or modifying sensor calibration, as well as when adding or modifying equipment.

Adjustment in Practice

When you enter the sensor calibration values, you indicate the calibration uncertainties, as in the image below

Thermotrack-Webserve will display in the Equipment settings the basic alarm thresholds you have defined (e.g. 15 and 25°C and the adjusted thresholds e.g. 15.1 and 24.9 in our example). These thresholds are automatically readjusted each time they are modified, to adapt to the most relevant calibration uncertainty.

What are the advantages?

  • Enhanced Accuracy: Alarm thresholds adjust to accurately reflect calibration uncertainty, giving you a truer picture of actual conditions.
  • Adaptability: Each time equipment or sensor calibration is modified, alarm thresholds are automatically readjusted, ensuring that your parameters are always up to date.
  • Simplicity of Use: This feature works in the background. Once activated, you don’t have to worry about manual adjustments.

A brand new home page

Thermotrack-webserve now opens in Mosaic mode with a color code for each equipment

In green, all equipment is OK
In red, the equipment in high alarm
In blue, those in low alarm
In maroon, those whose sensor is not detected
In orange, those which have exceeded the alarm thresholds but whose time delay has not been reached
And in gray, the equipment for which you have deactivated the alarms

Each equipment has a customizable pictogram. You can modify it in the equipment settings page.

New display filters

New filter and sorting tools are also available.

You can display all the equipments, or only

– Display only those that are on alarm

– Select only those in a location or zone

Also use the search button to find an equipment by its name more quickly

Sorting by Locations and Zones: This is no longer mandatory

If you only have a few sensors, it may be tedious to sort them by Locations and Zones.

You can now skip this classification.

Customized alarm justifications

When justifying an alarm, you can now choose from a custom list for your company.

This saves users from writing

To customize this list, go to the settings menu and choose the “advanced” tab

You can now receive a first alert as soon as a sensor exceeds the alarm thresholds, without waiting for the timeout to be exceeded.

To activate this function, go to the settings menu and choose the “advanced” tab

Programmable alarms

In some cases, the temperature set point of your equipments may be different on different days of the week.

This is the case for example with programmable ovens in microbiology. You put samples to incubate on Friday afternoon for 24 hours and the oven will keep the samples at 5°C ±3 C until Monday morning.

You can now specify a different alarm range for a predefined period of time.

To activate the programmable alarms, go to the settings menu and choose the “advanced” tab

Printing of graphs

Update on Mars 16th
The PDF printing service has been restored as of this Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
The automated reports have been automatically regenerated and sent to the usual recipients.

We have taken the opportunity to implement an internal solution that no longer uses an external service, in order to avoid a possible unwanted suspension.

We remain at your disposal for any information

The graph printing service has been suspended by our service provider.
This impacts both PDF printouts and automated reports.

We are currently looking for a replacement service.
It should take a few days to find the right service and to do our tests.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and are doing everything possible to limit the downtime.
We will notify you here as soon as the service is restored.

Important new functions

Secure your vos manual checks , program alarm stoppage, and delayed alarms generations, the version updated on Oct 10th 2019 brings you these 3 new functions which you can discover below:

Manual checks

Not all your items are equipped with one of our sensor, we understand this. But you still need to report one or several times a day the value of the display or temperature measured with a mobile thermometer on a sheet of paper. You need to keep that paperwork. Nobody likes this and you may not be sure that these controls are always made in due time.

With the manual checks, you can now secure this and it’s free of charge.

How does it work ?

You can now create items of type “Manual” et indicate how frequently these controls have to de made. For instance, every day, Monday to Saturday, at 8 ap, 12 am and 6pm. You choose which days of the week, the time frames and if  controls are allowed outside these time frames.

You and you colleagues can now report manual reading directly on the home page.
You can do this on the field, using your smartphone.

Useful function: If these manual checks are not done in due time, people who should do so will receive a reminder by SMS or by Email.

  • Manual controls are automatized
  • You can assign controls on a remote site to your colleagues
  • You can control if that is done in due time
  • Youi never forget it
  • You keep track records online for 10 years

This is 100% FREE !

No need to pay. You can create as many “manual” items as you like. Even if you don’t use any of our sensor, its free also.  If you are not yet a customer of us, you can create a free account.

Scheduled Alarms stoppage

Imagine you forecast cleaning or maintenance operations, or holiday periods when your fridges will be stopped.. You want to prevent alarm messages to be sent and avoid receiving unnecessary emails or use your SMS quota..

You can now set alarms to be stopped starting a particular date. If you select alarms stop until a particular day, Thermotrack Webserve will automatically reactivate alarm message at this due date.

How does it work?

Go to the setting page a the items you want to modify and select “Stop sending alarms” choose, “never, till, or starting” and select the appropriate date

On the home page, you will know which items have stopped alarms. See  the status which is automatically updated.

Alarm delays

You can now choose a different alarm delay for high and low alarm level.

What is alarm delays : To prevent alarms being sent too quick in case of door opening or defrost cycles, you can set a grace period during the one, no alarm will be sent. For instance, temperature above 8°C will not generate a high alarms if it last less than 30 minutes and it will last 2 hours below 2°C before it sends a low alarm message.

Thermotrack-Webserve offers you more accuracy. It’s up to you, independently for each sensor.
